Beginning River I:
One day beginning river workshop provides a introduction to white water kayaking and a knowledge and skills base to grow upon. You will spend the morning on a lake for an excellent controlled and relaxed learning environment. You will progress to moving water, then up to class II whitewater. Class emphasize on safety , stroke techniques, and creating a base of skills and knowledge to grow upon. For Individuals age 14 & up ranging from pure beginners (Never paddled) to those who are looking for formal instruction.

Beginning River II:
One day Beginning river II workshop picks up where our Beginning river I workshop leaves off. This workshop is designed for those who have had some previous instruction and want to refine strokes and maneuvers while gaining river experience. You start the day on flat water and progress up to class II whitewater. For Individuals age 14 & up. Must have some previous paddling experience or taken Beginning river one.

½ day Recreation Kayak Intro:
Our 3 hour workshop introduces equipment, knowledge, paddle skills and increase comfort level, all wrapped up in a 3 hour adventure in our fleet of recreational kayaks on a local body of water. This workshop is great for people who have never paddled or just started, and want to learn more about this life long activity. For Individuals age 14 & up.

½ Day Self Kayak Rescue Class:
Our 3 hour workshop introduces kayak Self rescue in a 3 hour adventure in our fleet of touring and recreational kayaks, on a local body of water. This workshop is great for people who want to learn about how to get back in their kayak after it has capsized. You will not only learn Self Rescue techniques but you will also learn how to assist someone who has capsized

Kayak Touring: Full Day
Our one day workshop introduces self & team kayak rescues, stroke technique, equipment knowledge, while we spend the morning on a small body of water. Then you put your new knowledge to the test as you explore some of our larger bodies of water in Western MA. This workshop is set up for people looking to learn self rescues and willing to explore greater distances from shore then general Recreation boats. For Individuals age 14 & up.

River & Lake Touring Excursions:
Come join us as we set out to discover the Calm Rivers of New England. You will have a chance to paddle our fleet of recreation and touring kayaks down quiet sections of river while observing wildlife and the beauty of the surroundings. The rivers we will explore are Farmington River, Deerfield River, CT River, and Westfield River. Each trip will offer a different river or section than previous excursions.

White Water Aquaholics Therapy Program
Come join us for an Aquaholics therapy trip down some of the local rivers in Massachusetts and Connecticut. WEU & WWS are offering guided trips for those who can't stand to be dry. You must have formal instruction and be comfortable in class I and Class II Whitewater, and have the appropriate Whitewater gear and Boat. Your Aquaholic therapist will treat you at No cost. We just ask if you had fun please Tip your therapist.

To get the prices listed, we must have at least 3 students enrolled in a workshop within 3 days of the workshop start date. If only one person is enrolled, he or she may pay for a private rate or may choose to cancel or reschedule.

Private Instruction:
Some times our scheduled classes and your schedule don’t match up. So how about a personal or small group trip or private class. We teach Whitewater, touring, rescue, roll skills for Canoe & Kayak.
Day Private Instruction per person:
1 person: $375.00 per person. 2 people: $195.00 per person
3 people: $150.00. per person 4 or more: $95.00 per person
Need some work on a specific skill? Rolling? Rescues? Strokes? Comfort? We offer Private pool instruction with a ACA Certified Instructor for Kayaking and Canoeing for only $60 an hour per person
Pool Private Instruction per Hour:
1 person: $60.00 per person. 2 Person $50.00 per person
3 person: $45.00 per person 4 or more $35.00 per person
1 hour of private is equal to 3 hours of a group lesson .
