Our Supplemental Outdoor Adventure Resources (S.O.A.R.) are designed to offer your group, whether small, large, young, old or in-between a very special opportunity. It is a chance to learn and grow with our trained instructors in Nature’s classroom. Every aspect of our wilderness experience incorporates a philosophy of “challenge by choice.” We encourage individuals to push beyond their comfort zone to achieve a higher level of learning, personal growth, and satisfaction. At no time will an individual be forced to perform a task. Each program is planned to be progressive, allowing participants increased opportunities for decision-making, problem solving, and cooperative skills. As trained professionals we will provide all necessary equipment, safety precautions, and information in order to maximize the experiential education process. A practical educational component is prevalent throughout each of our activities. With over 60 years of combined outdoor leadership experience, and 9 degrees, our professional staff has the unique ability to custom tailor each experience to the specific needs of your group. Programs offered include Rock Climbing, Ropes Course, Confidence Building, Canoeing, Camping, Backpacking, Kayaking, Cross Country Skiing, Snow Shoeing, Orienteering, Caving, SCUBA, Snorkeling, Group Living, New Games, Hiking, Tracking, Problem Solving, Leadership Training, Outdoor Educational Field Trips, and more.
