 W.E.U. Day Camp Groups

Sunflowers, Chipmunks, Pathfinders, & Pioneers

2018 Session Offerings, Descriptions, & Pricing Below

All of our day camp programs are the alternative to large impersonal camps! Each program is geared towards helping the camper discover the natural surroundings and their inner strength. Sunflower, Chipmunks, Pathfinders, & Pioneers thrive in our small groups. They are encouraged to make friends, explore the environment, and challenge themselves, all in a safe, non–competitive, and well-supported environment.

Your camper’s fun doesn’t have to end at 4:00 p.m. Overnight camp extends their day and expands their camp experience. We highly recommend overnight to anyone 10yrs and up, especially those who have experienced our day camp program.

The younger we are when we begin to explore the world around us the more we will respect it. This shortened day program will be a great introduction to the out of doors for our youngest adventurers. In a small group setting the “Sunflowers” will stay at our Southwick base camp and will have the opportunity to make new friends, do nature-based craft projects, play games, build self-confidence and get a little bit dirty! Our staff are comprised of experienced outdoor educators and preschool teachers.  Please send your little one with a mid-morning snack! Cost: $209/wk

Their field trips will lead them to parks, wooded areas, and streams where they will be able to get wet, dirty, and muddy as they play and work together in the out of doors. Chipmunks can expect to spend the week hiking, playing cooperative games,  learning team building activities, swimming, climbing our high ropes course, stream-hiking, snorkeling and more.  Our professional wilderness leader staff know just how to balance fun, excitement, and education in their outdoor classroom.  In addition to a jam-packed week of safe outdoor activities, we provide 1+ group swimming lessons per week and a daily afternoon snack for our Chipmunks.
